Hong Kong based iBerry has launched a smartphone, Auxus Prime P8000, which comes with a fingerprint sensor and also supports 4G.
The company is likely to announce the pricing for the iBerry Auxus Prime P8000 at launch.
Announcing the launch of the phone and the partnership with Auxus in India, Elephone sales supervisor Nico said, “We are very glad to have OEM collaboration with Auxus for India market and we look forward to bringing in more products for Indian customers to meet their demand in terms of specifications and after-sales support”.
Coming to the hardware specifications of the smartphone, as mentioned already, the device will carry basically the exact same hardware as the Elephone P8000, but with added support for LTE bands in India. It is powered by Mediatek MT6753 64-bit Octa Core processor with 3GB DDRIII RAM.
Auxus PRIME P8000, sports a 5.5-inch OGS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Powered by a huge 4165 mAh battery, the phone boasts of a 2A quick charge function that lets you charge your phone really fast. Additionally, iBerry will be offering a 1-year standard warranty with the smartphone. It also includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
On the connectivity, this device offers 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS.
PRIME P8000 comes with one-its-kind of Finger Print 360 degree Touch ID at the rear below 13MP Samsung Camera. It comes in a dual SIM configuration with 4G support.
At this price point, iBerry Auxus is the cheapest handset with a fingerprint scanner in the country. The smart phone promises to deliver up to 268 hours of standby and can run up to 21 hours of talk time. The device also comes with other features such as proximity sensor, light sensor, and gravity sensor.
